Darkwood Crew is a constituted group of local residents who have a very clear aim of ‘helping Ferguslie flourish’ with a strong environmental ethos, focusing on 5 key areas

Our work is underpinned by a belief that our local environment holds the key to addressing a number of historical social problems in the community including, but not limited to, health inequalities, long term unemployment, poor educational attainment, poor mental health, social exclusion & isolation.

Co-op & Greggs Run

Our partnerships with Co-op and Greggs Foundation have allowed us to include some tasty treats in our food parcels whilst reducing waste and tackling food insecurity head on

Residential Garden Maintenance

We offer hedge and grass cutting, weeding, flower bed maintenance and other garden tasks. Free to all residents of Ferguslie Park with a suggested donation towards equipment and fuel costs

Street Lighting Repairs

Street lighting, bus shelter lighting, zebra crossing, illuminated bollard repairs and exposed wiring can be reported directly to Renfrewshire council using the button below


Street Pot Holes

Street pot holes, footway/pavement faults,  street drainage & flooding as well as street furniture and traffic sign/signal faults can be reported to Renfrewshire council below


RenRepairs - the repair app for Renfrewshire Council 

Renfrewshire Council have a free app for council tenants to report repairs inside their home and arrange a gas servicing appointment.

It is a simple process that sends the details of the repair, where it’s located, allows you to attach an image and confirm your availability for the appointment to be undertaken.

The app ensures the repairs process is managed as quickly as possible. Ren Repairs also provides tenants with a range of information and other services with access to Jobcentre Plus and a range of local services, news etc.

Being at home more during the pandemic and through the winter may cause you to be spending additional money on your prepaid gas and electricity meters. Perscription Collection

Our prescription collection service is available to anyone in Ferguslie Park who are isolating, shielding or anxious about going to collect for themselves.
